1. FOLLOWING THE CROWD/FRIEND -

This is one of the most common mistakes which most of the students unknowingly make. Many students just take up any stream because their friends have decided to take that stream. This can turn out to be the worst decision of their lives. 

It is necessary that you chose the stream which you are most passionate about rather than doing what most of the students are doing.

2. BECOMING A VICTIM OF SOCIETY & FAMILY OPINIONS -

Let’s look at a common scenario.

You: Dad, I want to take up Arts stream.

Dad: There is no future in the Arts stream. You have to take science. Look at Sharma Ji's son. He had taken up science stream and he is doing very well in life.

I am sure many students would have faced this common situation. I am sure, that many parents would have given the examples of some Sharma Ji or Gupta Ji to influence the decision of their child. This can lead to a wrong career decision.

There is no doubt that science is a good stream, but arts is also a very good stream. There is no doubt about it. Which stream you will take, you are determined, but it is not an easy task. 3. CHOOSING MONEY BEFORE ANYTHING ELSE -

It will make you look forward to getting into work. Instead of getting frustrated and dissatisfied, spend nine hours in a productive way. For money do not wander away down a path which doesn’t suit you.

Often students do not take their career part seriously until it’s already too late! Students opt for a course which they find easy and hassle-free! They choose it randomly without even thinking about the coincidence! Students sometimes seek to turn their hobby into a career without thinking things through.  The lack of flexibility and prudence could tend the career path into a career disaster path!  

We should always think well about your career choice so that we do not face further trouble.

5. LACK OF RESEARCH OR KNOWLEDGE -
